WHO WE ARE

I am Scott Shaver and have been in water treatment since 2007. I am very passionate about water and love learning new things about water every day. Water is the most essential element to our survival and is my goal to make sure everyone can experience the best water possible at a fair price.

I started working with Kinetico in 2007 in Michigan. It was there I learned about water and started really enjoying my job as a water professional. I was the sales coordinator there and moved up to warehouse manager very shortly. I learned quickly about water and helped the company form new processes to help improve operations.

In 2010 I started working with Kinetico in Tennessee. I worked there for almost 10 years. It was here that I was able to grow in my knowledge of water treatment and how to promote it. I started here also as sales coordinator mixed with marketing and IT work. Again, I quickly moved up to warehouse operations manager and purchasing manager as I told owner of my ideas to conform a very unorganized warehouse into a warehouse now that is still nationally recognized as one of the best in the water treatment industry. I created processes there including testing stations to test water before equipment goes out for install as well as reconditioned equipment station, testing and processes. I created new "cages" for parts and equipment as well as the processes of checking in and out. I was able to create bins that have all the parts in them that installers/service needs to complete their jobs that they just swap out daily to save time. I started the template and built out several work vans and trailers so that installers and service professionals were able to do their job in a more efficient manner. there were numerous other warehouse operation processes I put in place that are still used to this day. I truly appreciate the knowledge gained and opportunities experienced here.

I left Kinetico in 2020 to form my own water treatment company and coffee company with 2 partners based on the knowledge myself and partners obtained and past business experience. With this business we quickly became one of the fastest growing water treatment companies in Tennessee based on my marketing expression that "Because everyone deserves great water." This went over well and is still used to this day. We were able to provide great water for everyone at a great price. From there, our company decided split and formed 2 new separate companies.

I formed my own company, Aqua US Water Systems so that I may continue to grow in my pursuit of loving what I do with providing the best water in Tennessee to everyone at great pricing. I was able to acquire my website www.changemywater.com which expresses who we are and what we are able to do. We are devoted to certain ideals at Aqua US that I believe set us apart in an industry that has forgotten how to treat customers.

My name is Richey Carter and I love spending time with my family in the great outdoors. Our favorite thing to do is spend time on Melton Hill Lake in the warmer months. I have lived in Knoxville since 1985 and believe that East Tenn is one of the best places to live in the United States. I have been in the water industry for the past 2 years and am passionate about educating and offering people clean water. I’m excited to be a part of a small, local, veteran owned company that offers the best value in TN for clean, pure water.
